I named this blog the Utah Botox Blog because Botox injections are the most popular procedure at my medical spa and the most popular cosmetic treatment in the entire country. My goal with this blog is to share pearls, knowledge, and wisdom about Botox injections. Botoxathon this Friday to help cure blindness in Africa

Our office has once again been selected to represent Utah in the One World Sight Project's National Botoxathon. On Friday May 14th, participating doctor's from around the country and Allergan will donate proceeds from Botox injections that day to the Eyes of Africa Initiative of the One World Sight Project. This organization uses that money to pay for vision-restoring cataract surgery in Africa. Space is limited that day but there are still appointments available.

Juvederm XC for Lip Injections

Juvederm now has a new formulation called Juvederm XC. This new version of the popular filler has Lidocaine premixed with the Juvederm in each vial. I have been using it for lip augmentation injections over the past few months and my patients have definitely noticed a big reduction in discomfort. In fact, I rarely use a dental numbing block anymore.
